Which is very important for people to keep in mind when they interact with him.Kuroko's Basketball ( Japanese: 黒子のバスケ, Hepburn: Kuroko no Basuke, The Basketball Which Kuroko Plays in Japan) is a Japanese sports manga series written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. Atsushi is a complicated boy, and his behaviour is a product of how he was created and how the people around him shaped him. They know he's soft, they know he is gentle and cute. One of his defences is to threaten people - he is big and most are afraid of his size, so it works really well. I don't believe he would have reacted so badly to their loss had Himuro not punched him and pushed him to keep going - Atsushi's mental health seems to be very frail, and that was just such a big blow. You can see a bit of that during that tragic seirin vs yosen game, Himuro got too pushy and forceful once Atsushi wanted out, and as a result Murasakibara cried when they lost.
Which is why when people are rude or too forceful with him, Atsushi crumbles. Those three relationships are very similar in the way they portray Atsushi as the person who follows the other - not without protest, because he is a little brat, but eventually he caves in.
He grew up a soft boy, with the need to be cared for, which is why most of his relationships have that dynamic. Atsushi is definitely little material, he thrives under a caretaker, he loves to be spoiled, to be told what to do - even if he ends up not doing it. Another factor is: he likes being taken care of. Obviously, the bullying he faced a kid forced him to shed a bit of that dependence, but Atsushi found that he could hide behind the actions of his old self, and people wouldn't ask questions about why he was bruised, why was he getting so thin and so on. He has always been spoiled, and taken care of and was raised to be very dependent on his siblings and parents. He has always been treated like a baby by everyone, and will forever be treated like one even as an adult. ( A key point to understanding why Murasakibara acts the way he does, is to always remember he is the youngest member of his family - apart from his nephews and nieces.
